A Noob's Diary About Watches

TW2V71400 TIMEX SUB-SECOND 40mm APPLE SKIN LEATHER STRAP WATCH – Modern, Minimal, Vegan

This TW2V71400 Timex Sub-Second 40mm Apple Skin Leather Strap Watch is a casual watch you would wear daily except for outdoors or sports. The design is minimal, easy to read numerals with no fanciful minute-hour hands. The sub-second tops it like toppings on ice-cream giving it an omph, making the minimal clean design at little bit more depth without overdoing it.

Colours are well-paired – with black leather against silver face and black numerals/hour-minute hands. The stainless steel case is well-polished with the Timex logo printed at the back of the case. Leather’s soft from the beginning so no break in is required like genuine leather.

Whatever the occasion, for daily wear or simply a dress watch on a date or event, this is the watch you can seriously consider. Since it’s running on quartz movement, you don’t have to worry about setting time each time you are going out for work or play.

This Timex watch is the ONLY VEGAN watch by a watch company with a long watchmaking history. Grab while you still can if not it probably be like the Marlin which the subsequent design are not true to the original.

My wrist size here is at 16.25 cm.

SG WATCH DIARY

This is just a hobby blog of the watches that I have come across – meaning owned, tried wearing them and then just give a few cents here and there about them. All in plain simple English with no complicated horology jargons.

Maybe, just maybe, giving some bitching opinions on watches around too lah haha! See how but yes, priority content will still be those that I’ve physically encounter.

Oh before I forgot – this is not a watch blogshop and I’m not selling any watches here. Hope you find the content here useful lah!
