ORIENT MAKO SOLAR CHRONOGRAPH (RA-TX0202B10B) BLACK DIAL / STAINLESS STEEL – A chronograph watch super under-rated, ignored

This ORIENT MAKO SOLAR CHRONOGRAPH in Black Dial with Stainless Steel powered by QUARTZ movement, is absolutely great as a daily wear for work or play. With 200m water resistant, this watch can almost company to places. The lume is very strong making markers very visible in the dark and in my opinion, stronger than Seiko’s in some cases of the same price range. The built is pretty rugged and feels solid although it’s a chronograph. This, it makes me wonder if this is a diver or a chronograph but nonetheless, I feel they are like a 2-in-1. Comes in stainless steel links but here, I fitted a 3rd party leather strap which I feel doesn’t make the whole watch too dull, predictable looking.

The date display is easy to see, no misalignments and the whole dial is not too messy to tell the time. With so much info and it’s rugged built, what more can you ask for in a watch of this price range coming from a severely under-rated Japanese watch company with long watchmaking history?

If you are looking for a chronograph with diver built and don’t have to bother about the power reserves like Automatics or hand-winds with strong lume and perfect colour combo (some watches the colour combo is bad you can’t tell the time), this ORIENT MAKO Solar Chronograph (RA-TX0202B10B) Black Dial / Stainless Steel is one you should explore.

The above is totally from my experience with the watch. Call it a simple Orient Mako Solar Chronograph review, if you will! 🙂

My wrist size here is at 16.25 cm.

This is just a hobby blog of the watches that I have come across – meaning owned, tried wearing them and then just give a few cents here and there about them. All in plain simple English with no complicated horology jargons.

Maybe, just maybe, giving some bitching opinions on watches around too lah haha! See how but yes, priority content will still be those that I’ve physically encounter.

Oh before I forgot – this is not a watch blogshop and I’m not selling any watches here. Hope you find the content here useful lah!
